What is Givvie?

Givvie is a mobile app that lets you send dining experiences from local restaurants and cafes in Amsterdam to friends and family. Send someone you care about a night out, a coffee date, or cocktails at their favorite spot, instantly.

How long are digital gifts valid?

The validity date is set by the venue and will be stated on your gift experience, so you'll always know exactly how long you have to enjoy it. We believe gifts shouldn't expire tomorrow. There's plenty of time to plan that brunch.

How does it work?

4. Add a personalised message
5. Send instantly

Your friend receives a digital gift they can redeem directly at the venue. It takes less than a minute.

Can I get a refund?

Because gifts are digital and delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered. However, if something went wrong (technical issue, duplicate purchase, venue closure), reach out to us at support@givvie.ai — we’ll always look for a fair solution.

Where can digital gifts be redeemed?

Gifts can be redeemed at the specific partner venue selected at checkout. We work with your favorite hyper-local spots in Amsterdam. You'll see participating venues directly in the app.

What if the venue closes?

If a partner venue permanently closes before redemption, contact us. We’ll work to offer a suitable alternative, which may include a replacement digital gift.

What happens when someone redeems a digital gift?

When you're ready to use your gift, simply visit the venue and open the Givvie app. Show your gift to the in-store staff and swipe to redeem — the redemption is validated directly with them on the spot, and your experience is fulfilled right then and there.

Do I need an account to send a gift?

Yes, you’ll need to create an account to send or manage gifts.
This helps us:

Is Givvie only in Amsterdam?

For now, yes. We are focused on building a strong, local network in Amsterdam before expanding. We want to make sure Givvie is a product that people genuinely love and use before expanding to new cities.
